From time to time something happens that stirs our sympathy and causes us to react to suffering in the world.
In the past we have supported Samaritan's Purse, Comic Relief, Ty Olwen and the Afghanistan Earthquake Appeal.
In January '10 the disaster that attracted the attention of our children was the earthquake in Haiti.
Your children came to us and asked if they could raise money for those in Haiti who were worse off than them and in need of help.
