Pentrepoeth Junior School on a Friday Afternoon

Star Time - Friday,

May 7, 2010

What would you do on a Friday afternoon if you had a choice?

Cut down the old school Christmas tree so we can dispose of it sensibly?

Or plant new trees on the field?

The trees came in long plastic tubes...

...but were very small when they were taken out.

 The ground was ...

... really, really hard!

 But all the trees...

...were very carefully planted...

...with lots of tender loving care.

And then everyone stood back to look at their work

Not everyone was gardening.  People were playing and making music.

Out in the yard playing kick rounders.

Chilling out in the Magic Cottage.

 Knitting...

...making cheesecake (it looked fantastic)...

...hip-hopping - or playing with the new PA system the school has just bought.

Can you guess what Mr Martin was doing?
