Pentrepoeth Junior School Garden

2006 - 2009

Our school grounds before we started to develop our garden.

The council helped us a lot with the heavy work in the first year.

The first summer - our garden has started to grow and we enjoyed looking after it.

We have new planters and can grow some vegetables. We also have an African bag garden to learn how families in Africa grow their food.

The forestry commission helped to cut some logs to create seats around the pond.

Chris, one of our Community Police Officers, comes in every week to help in the garden. The children really enjoy this.

A trainee Community Police Officer came to help us one week.

Community Police Officer, John, comes in every week and enjoys getting to know the children.
