 Pentrepoeth Junior School Garden

2006 - 2009

We experimented in 2008 by planting tomatoes in hanging baskets. It was exciting.

We planted potatoes in bags, and put them in different areas around the school grounds to find out where they grew best.

We have sown a lot of seeds and and our greenhouse is very useful. Our potatoes are starting to grow!

Our sweetcorn and spring onions are growing well.

Here is the start of our herb garden with lavender, rosemary and sage. Mint is also planted in the pot. It smells lovely.

Look how all our potatoes have grown!

Spring 2009. Our willow fence has just been planted and the daffodils are in bloom.

Mr. Martin enjoys helping in the garden and is looking forward to seeing how our vegetables grow.
