Off the bus and eager to work. Two classes went straight to the theatre and two classes went to the museum to do some work before watching the play in the afternoon. | We were so keen that we were early and we had to knock at the door of the museum to wake the people up inside so that we could get to work! |
 | Eventually someone let us in and we settled into our classroom for the morning. Our activiities are below and on the next two pages. |

Using the posters that were scattered around on large boards we had to answer a series of questions. | The answers allowed us to crack a code - the code name for the operation on D Day. |

A model of the camp at Bridgend where german prisoners were kept in 1944. | Our job was to take messages to one of our group who had not seen the model to get them to draw a plan of the camp. It was very hard! |

You have to spend some time in an air raid shelter in your backk garden. | What six items would you take with you? Our groups had to work together to decide! |
