An extract from the letter sent to confirm our successful application for the Green Flag - The assessors were very impressed by the whole school's enthusiasm for the Eco-Schools programme and the level of staff and pupil involvement with environmental issues raised by the programme. They reported - "The children were very knowledgeable and were able to speak freely on the wider global issues. Pentrepoeth has incorporated other initiatives into teh programme (e.g. Healthy Schools, Tidy Wales week, Schools travel plans, Forest Schools) and made Eco-Schools very visible. A welcoming school and an excellent all-round example. We were also able to record that the school was litter free - Grade 'A' - Well done!"
