Recipe for Rock Buns
You will need:
100g self raising flour
50g castor sugar
50g dried fruit
50g margarine
1 egg
1-2 teaspoons extra sugar
Method:
Seive the flour into a mixing bowl
Rub in the margarine with the tips of your fingers
Add the sugar and dried fruit
Break the egg into a basin and beat the egg with a fork
Pour the egg slowly on to the rest of teh ingredients in the bowl
Mix with a knife
Place 5 or 6 equal sized lumps of mixture on to a greased baking tray
Sprinkle lightly with sugar
Bake near the top of a moderately hot oven (180C) for 10-15 minutes
Eat and enjoy!
