| The school council and eco comittee visited Wyevale to learn about growing potatoes. | |

| The children were shown how to chit potatoes by putting them in an egg box ready for them to sprout roots before they can be planted. | |

| Explaining how to plant the potatoes and how tall the plants would grow in these pots. | |

| Different varieties of potatoes were shown to us and we were told when each variety would be ready to crop for us to try! | |

| We had a chance to look at the varieites and were given a selection to bring back to school with the potas we would need. | |
